Animikii is a values-driven Indigenous technology company with products and services focused on website and software development. We recognize that technology by itself is not a solution to the pressing issues we face, rather it must be guided by a system of values that promote mutual understanding and equity.

Our values form the foundation of our business philosophy. We follow the 7 Grandfather Teachings of Anishinaabe tradition in all aspects of our decision-making processes. We think of our projects holistically and focus on building long-term relationships with our partners, team members, and networks.
Our straightforward approach to projects is often a breath of fresh air for many of our clients. We never bill hourly keeping your costs consistent and predictable. You'll never get a surprise invoice from Animikii for hours you didn't approve. While we don’t respond to Requests for Proposals, we do work with organizations of all sizes and disciplines and we guarantee our work. We’re open-book with our team and when we say we’re a social enterprise, you can read what that means to us in our annual Social Impact Reports.
The Animikii team is remote-first and distributed. We work with teammates, contractors, and clients throughout Turtle Island. Our relationship with our partners is as two entities on a shared journey, not just a transactional relationship. As a company, Animikii promotes collaboration, not competition. If you’re an Indigenous technologist or innovator in a similar space we want to find a way to work with you, not compete against you.
