Last week Animikii participated in Vancouver Island's first Aboriginal Business Match. The ABM is an event for business owners and decision makers to get together for brief 20-minute power meetings to network and explore opportunities.

Aboriginal Business Match Vancouver Island was held at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre and is the latest addition to the growing, Canada-wide, First Nations-driven network that aims to foster economic development within Aboriginal communities.

As an Aboriginal business, we were able to connect with dozens of First Nations communities, companies and other entrepreneurs who are interested in leveraging web technologies for their social and economic initiatives.

For a business that is looking to expand its operations, an event such as the ABM was a force multiplier for us to spread Animikii's vision and story with other like-minded entrepreneurs.
