Animikii Founder and CEO Jeff Ward shared his insights with The Globe and Mail's Karl Moore and Wahiakatste Diome-Deer on driving change for Indigenous Peoples through technology. 

Jeff touched on his career path and the inspiration that led to founding Animikii in 2003. Fast forward to 2022, Animikii has hired our 35th Thunderbird and began preparing for a year of exciting new partnerships.

Now more than ever it's important consider values we hold close and think about how we can apply them to today's world. Here's what Jeff had to say about what Canadian companies can learn from Indigenous people and practices,

"We need to operate successful business entities that are sustainable and profitable, and to be sustainable doesn’t only include money. It also means considering the business's effect on the planet, the community partners, employees and rights holders. I feel that Indigenous leadership in business really shows that you can build a successful company with purpose and that is of service to all of those aspects."
