Things you can do to celebrate National Aboriginal day: Vancouver Island Events and Festivals

June 9, 2017

Share story

Because our head office is in Victoria, we’ve put together this list and map of events going on across Vancouver Island.

In Victoria, Canada 150 celebrations are kicking off on June 21, but National Indigenous Peoples Day will be celebrated from June 16-18 downtown at the Inner Harbor. The festival features traditional dancers, musicians, an Indigenous Arts Marketplace, and authentic Indigenous cuisine from the Songhees Seafood and Steam Food Truck.

If your community is hosting an event, not on our list, send us an email at info@animikii.com and we will add it to our map!
