“Our project was unique because we not only had to release a film but also foster a meaningful conversation around Reconciliation. It was clear from the beginning Animikii was passionate about the message we were trying to portray and went all in with writing, editing video, and developing social graphics. The entire Animikii team was dedicated to supporting the success of this movie, the delivery of actionable ReconciliACTION and creating overall awareness about true Canadian history and the effects of Residential Schools on individuals, families of survivors and future generations. With Animikii’s support, we grew our following to over 20,000 on Facebook alone. Animikii is a full meal deal—they designed our film’s theatrical teaser poster, developed the website, built a mobile-friendly web-application for the #NEXT150 challenge and managed digital communications throughout the campaign. Overall the digital media, social, and Reconciliation-focused campaign was an incredible success. The creative was powerful and effective without compromising the usability of the experience. This was an incredible team that came together to make this project reach so many people. Richard Wagamese, the author of Indian Horse, would have been proud and impressed. “ - Indian Horse Film Producers
